Set up a Google Alert to do Research for You
Google alerts will send you new web postings for any pages, sites, new books, scholarly articles, and even ads that include your search terms.
Say you’re writing a story that takes place in the Battle of the Argonne Forest. You could get information delivered to your mailbox that let’s know that five days ago some private family artifacts from a WWI veteran of that battle. Maybe you can use some of that information: http://www.muskogeephoenix.com/news/world-war-i-artifacts-find-new-home-at-muskogee-war/article_5a7241de-fcdb-51d2-b4e8-31851687d0b8.html
