Sarah Mucek is willing to write just about anything. She studied poetry and fiction as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and began publishing her poetry shortly after graduation. Her work has appeared in The Madison Review, Poetic Hours (UK), Poetry East, The Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, and other journals. Her poem, ‘Aditya in December’ won the 2008 Potomac Review poetry contest. Sarah is a member of Atlas Improv Company, with which she performs weekly, and she writes and films her own comedy sketches. She has just finished drafting her first screenplay and is currently hard at work collaborating on a musical (about zombies!), which she hopes to premiere in 2010.
