Tuesdays with Story

Lessee, I was born in Oklahoma in ’33. I lost my mother three weeks before my 6th birthday. I went to High School in Kansas (1 school), Oklahoma (2 schools, 1 in NW corner of state, 1 in SE corner, California (1), and Idaho 2 ( Jerome, Wendell, and back to Jerome to graduate).

I was undefeated in Golden Gloves; if you’re interested I can tell the rest of the story in about a dozen words.

I’ve lived and worked all over the western US. I was surprised to find that I’d had 36 different occupations (and done well at all of them too!) Included in the list is approximately 10 years as editor / publisher of newsletters for church and a MLM company. (Had one of my MLM articles plagerized by another MLM company.)

My wife and I have 3 adult children, 2 divorced, 1 unmarried, also have 2 grandaughters, 6 & 2, that we don’t see enough of.

I dropped out of activity with the club to work on screenplays several years ago. I had a lot of schooling to make up for before finally learning how to turn in an acceptable spec script. However I did learn, and now have three scripts somewhere in that nebulous area between funding and production.

Oh yes, If any at one of our meetings has a tension headache, I probably can eliminate it. (I’ve taught Massage at Lakeshore Technical Institute and at the Wisconsin School of Natural Healing, am a certified instructor for Touch for Health, and am trained in Deep Muscle Therapy Massage).
