Greg Spry

Greg’s love of all things beyond Earth’s atmosphere began at a very young age. From Lego space ships to Anime, non-fiction books to episodes of Star Trek, and video games to novels, he’s spent a lifetime immersing himself in space and sci-fi paraphernalia.

He first began writing in late elementary school and continued to hone his craft through the twelfth grade; a number of his current works are based on some concept he dreamed up during that age of innocence. College saw a brief lull in his literary works while he focused his attention on school. But shortly after graduating, he began writing his first true novel, Destalis, a philosophical thriller that tackles the grandiose mysteries of the universe. He’s been chugging away at it—the work he sees as his Magnus Opus—for over six years, trying to take it from good to great. More recently, he’s begun work on a second novel, Beyond Cloud Nine, an action-packed military space opera fraught with conspiracy.

Greg was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He lived in the suburbs of Milwaukee from fifth grade through high school, spent nearly a decade in Madison for college & work, moved to Saint Louis, Missour to help start a business and then returned to Milwaukee to work for a web design company and do some independent consulting. Currently, he lives back in Madison, working for a small company that does business process improvement and pursuing his writing.
