With a roar, my love of cinema was sparked at the tender age of nine when I first saw Jurassic Park. Ever since then I’ve been enthralled by the amazing places and wonderful sites that films can take you. Around the same time, I started to find my other passion: comic books. I would spend hours with my friends creating new X-Men characters and inventing storylines to go with them.
In high school, a group of friends and I started shooting some short sketches that we intended to air on the local cable access network (we never did get enough stuff together for them). I took that fun I had there and expanded upon it in college, studying film at UW Madison. There I wrote a couple of short screenplays and shot a couple of short films (only one is worth watching, and even that one is a bit painful to watch). After a long hiatus from writing, I started working on my first feature length screenplay Hell Cage, a horror film set in the world of professional wrestling, which I completed in 2011. After feeling invigorated by the experience, I have a wealth of ideas for future screenplays, mostly in the horror or science fiction realm, but now I just need the time to write them!
